Shawn Francis Cassinger

SALEM – Shawn Francis Cassinger, 58, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at Salem North Healthcare Center. He was born October 30, 1965 in Salem, son of the late Lloyd G. and Helen (Bishop) Cassinger.

Shawn was a lifetime resident and long-time employee of Ort Furniture in Salem. He attended St. Paul Catholic Church. Shawn enjoyed riding motorcycles, a hobby of his for most of his life. He was greatly loved by his family.

Survivors include four brothers, Tim (Catherene) Cassinger of Richfield, Gorden Cassinger of Salem, Chris Cassinger of New Waterford, Ted Cassinger of Akron, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Shawn was also preceded in death by two brothers, Scott and Ed Cassinger and a sister, Julie Cassinger.

Private services will be held. He will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery, Salem.
