Marilyn Sue Carlisle

SALEM – Marilyn Sue Carlisle, age 66, died Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at her home. She was born October 20, 1952 in Salem, the daughter of the late Alfred and Delores (Shepard) Stockwell.

Marilyn was a 1972 graduate of Salem High School. She was an STNA at Beeghly Oaks in Boardman prior to her illness. She loved taking care of her family, especially her pride and joy, the grandkids and enjoyed having coffee with her friends. She also loved going to the beach in North Carolina.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer (William) Walker of Salem; a son, John Carlisle of Salem; a brother, David and his wife Deborah Stockwell of Toledo and grandchildren, Nicole and Megan Walker.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019 at Stark Memorial with Pastor Rusty Savage officiating. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery.
