SALEM - Meta Culler, 64, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Meta was born in Connecticut on March 4, 1955, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth Katherine Culler.
She was a 1974 graduate of Salem High School and a 1978 graduate of Mount Union College, where she received a degree in Art Education. Meta was a substitute art teacher at various schools and worked various positions at the Giant Eagle, Salem for 23 years. She also worked at the Office of Aging in Salem in the Memorial Building. She was member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Salem.
In her spare-time she enjoyed quilting, sewing, and going to the Canfield Fair, and was a member of School House Stitches.
Besides her parents, Meta was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Tigger who was like a child to her and special friends Jay Hively and Bob Myers.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Aimee Raymond officiating. Friends and family will be received Saturday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
