Nancy Fediaczko Obituary

SALEM – Nancy Lee Fediaczko, age 80 died at 1:00 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Salem Regional Medical Center.  She was born February 2, 1939 in Fredericktown, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Michael and Edna Mae (Pockstallar) Petrovic.

Nancy was a registered nurse and worked at Essex of Salem and many other nursing homes in the Salem and Boardman area.  She was Methodist by faith, a 1957 graduate of Bethlehem Joint High School in Fredericktown, Pennsylvania and a 1960 graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing in Washington, Pennsylvania.  Nancy was past president of the former Salem League of Voters and a former board member of the Salem Community Theater in its early years.  She also served on the board and a docent for the Salem Historical Society and was a volunteer teacher’s assistant at Buckeye School.

Survivors include her husband, W. Gordon Fediaczko whom she married March 26, 1960; three sons, Michael (Trish) Fediaczko of Fairfax, Virginia, Scott (Carol) Fediaczko of Laurys Station, Pennsylvania and Clark Fediaczko of Salem; a daughter, Kea (Scott) Hrvatin of Belmont, North Carolina and four grandsons, John, David, Joseph and Zachary Fediaczko.

No services or calling hours will be held.  A private burial will take place at Lafayette Memorial Park in Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.

Arrangements are being handled by the Stark Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
