Thurma Phillis Obituary

SALEM - Thurma Phillis, 92, died at 12:26 p.m. January 29, 2019 at Crandall Medical Center. Thurma was born November 11, 1926 in Columbiana, a daughter of the late Thurman and Alma (Guy) Haag.

Thurma was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church. She was a 1944 graduate of Leetonia High School.

Her husband, Roy C. Phillis, whom she married June 12, 1948, died on October 31, 2005.

Services will be at 11;00 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Grandview Cemetery Chapel, with Pastor Leonard Moore officiating. There will be no calling hours. 3

Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Salem.
