Timothy Craik

Timothy Parks Craik, Jr. 38, of Cleveland passed away Saturday evening, March 30, 2019 at his home.

Tim was born October 21, 1980 in Salem, Ohio, the son of the late

Timothy Parks Craik, Sr. and Kathryn (Shasteen) Craik Matthews of Niles.

A 2000 graduate of Salem High School, Tim attended Youngstown State University and ITT Tech. He was currently working for the Cleveland Cavaliers via the Stagehand Union to set up shows and concerts. He also worked as a mortgage broker and roofing inspector and sales.

Tim dearly loved his family and was always up for an adventure. He loved nature, people and animals and had a kind way of talking and listening to others with a quiet understanding and humor.

In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his children, Quentin (18) and Giana Craik (16), and their mother Rae Roseland, of Salem, Carson Kaminsky (1), of Bedford; stepfather, Dr. Michael Matthews of Niles; brother, Nathan E. Craik, Jessica Rigelsky Craik, of Streetsboro; sisters, Lindsay E. Craik (Ken) Coulter, of Elkhorn, Nebraska, and Angela J. Craik of Salem; niece, Evelyn Craik; nephews, Max and Alex Coulter; uncle, Richard (Darlene) Shasteen of Milton, Vermont; aunts, Cindy Craik (Pat) Gillis of Washingtonville and MaryJo Craik Gallo of Leetonia; cousins and many friends who loved him in Cleveland, Niles, and Salem.

Tim was preceded in death by his dad, Timothy Parks Craik Sr.; grandparents, Harry and Donna (Fullerton) Craik and Bruce and Dorothy (Sutter) Shasteen; uncle, Robert Shasteen; and cousin, Justin Gillis.

A private celebration of Tim’s life will be shared with family and friends at Stark Memorial in Salem.
