SALEM-Beverly Jean Musacchio of Salem, Ohio, went peacefully to be with Jesus on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the age of 91. Beverly was born on January 8, 1934, to Minnie Mae (Yeary) and James Wheeler Smith, both of Corbin, Kentucky, at their home, 13910 Coit Road, Cleveland, Ohio.
She was raised in Cleveland along with her older and younger sisters, Pinkie and Pat. Beverly married her husband, Louis "Jack" Musacchio on June 16, 1951. They were blessed with five children and raised them on Elm Hill Farm in Chesterland where many happy and cherished memories were made with extended family and friends.
In 1993, Bev and Jack moved to Salem to be closer to their daughter Bonnie, son-in-law Don, and their grandchildren. In Salem, Bev and Jack were blessed beyond measure with their new Realife Church family, friends, and neighbors. Salem truly became a place of peace for both of them! Beverly never wanted to miss Shirley's Sunday School class or Tuesday Bible Study with Janet Maenz and all the ladies, as they studied, prayed and fellowshipped together.
Beverly is survived by her sister, Pat (Bill) Cornett; her children, Bonnie Rickman, Louis Musacchio III, Beverly (Luis) Moreno, Karen Love, and James (Beth) Musacchio; grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan) Ingle, Donnie (Amanda Jo) Rickman, Katie Rickman, Jessica Musacchio, Christina (Steven) Reish, Cayla Musacchio, Luis Moreno III, Cale Musacchio, Beverly Moreno, and Samantha Rickman; great-grandchildren, Summer and Noah Rickman, Jude Musacchio, Maxwell Hawley, Stella Paris, Ivy and Arlie Ingle, and Forest and Mae Reish.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; sister, Pinkie Smith; son-in-law, Don; and granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Musacchio.
Before entering hospice care, Beverly told her daughter, Bonnie, "I can't believe I'm going to see Jesus...and soon!" And now she has! Her greatest desire was that all she knew would come to know and love the Lord!
Beverly's family wishes to thank Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice who so lovingly cared for her. We are also grateful to our extended family, dear friends and neighbor, Ann, who ministered to her and us. Whether you prayed, called, brought meals, or checked in on her - your kindness will never be forgotten.
