Britney Dermotta

SALEM - Britney Dermotta, 39, of Salem, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Born on August 31, 1986, in Alliance, Ohio, Britney was the beloved daughter of John Dermotta and Pamela (Parsons) Smith.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Izabella Dermotta of Columbiana; her stepfather, Daryl Smith; and her stepmother, Gina Dermotta. She also leaves behind her brothers, Dakota (Blake) Smith, Anthony (Elaina) Dermotta, and Tyler Dermotta; and her sisters, Diana (Chris) Robison and Suzanne (Shane) Harding.

Britney will be deeply missed by her grandmother, Donna Dermotta, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William F. and Patricia L. Parsons, and John Gary Dermotta.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Banquet in Salem or The Columbiana Humane Society in her memory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. St. Paul Catholic Church.

Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.

Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
