SEBRING – Carol (Hixson/Wardle) Leone, age 87, went to be with Jesus June 29, 2026. She was born March 31, 1939, in Canfield, daughter of the late Grant and June (Engler) Hixson.
Carol was known as the ice cream grandma in her neighborhood, to the local children.
She leaves behind her son, Rod Wardle; daughters, Brenda (Wardle) Smith, Cathi (Wardle) Graham and Jennifer (Wardle) Barnes; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, and her very best friend, Alice Ann.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to any local animal shelter.
No services will be held.
