SALEM, OH – Carolyn Sue Burford, 71, died Monday, November 15, 2021, at Salem Reginal Medical Center in Salem, Ohio with her fiancé Richard Odom by her side. She was born August 11, 1950, in Salem, OH, daughter of Cecil Francis Freeland and Wilma Gladys Barrett Freeland.

Survivors include her son, David Eugene Burford, a brother David Freeland and Family, step-son, Bill Burford (Janet) of Columbus, Ohio; one step-granddaughter and 3 step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene William Burford Jr and a son Joseph Burford.

Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services
