Carroll Goode Obituary

Carroll E. Goode, 84, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at University Hospital in Cleveland. Born on September 19, 1940, in St. Albans, WV, Carroll was the son of the late Frank P. and Reba (Sanson) Goode.

A proud graduate of St. Albans High School, Carroll's work ethic and leadership skills soon led him to a successful career in management within the pottery industry. His journey began at Harkers in West Virginia and spanned several companies, culminating in a well-earned retirement from Homer Laughlin in Newell, WV. He was an avid NASCAR fan.

Beyond his professional achievements, Carroll was a devoted family man. He married his beloved wife, Jill Goode, on September 1, 1998.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Robert A. (Teresa) Goode and his grandchildren, Tyler and Justin Goode, Brooke and McKenzie Sirianni, who all brought him immeasurable joy. Carroll also leaves behind his stepson, PJ (Tasha) Sirianni. His love extended to his siblings, Denzil Goode, of Orlando, FL; Alma (Don) Paden, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Bobbi (Joseph) Mayes, of Carey, NC, and his favorite dog, Sadie.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Freeda Adkins and Amy Tabit.

The family will hold a private celebration of Carroll's life later, honoring a man who was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. Carroll E. Goode's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless lives he enriched.
