Charles W. Ferrebee, Sr.

Charles W. Ferrebee, Sr., passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, at the age of 81, at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, OH. He was born on January 29, 1944, in Clay County, WV.

Charles's early life in West Virginia set the stage for a lifetime of hard work and service. After bravely serving in the United States Army, he returned to his roots in West Virginia, where he became a familiar face at a local gas station, serving his community with a helping hand. He moved to North Carolina, where he enjoyed 27 years of well-deserved tranquility. It was there that Charles could often be found indulging in his love for the great outdoors and could almost always be found hunting or fishing.

In a move to be closer to his son, Charles relocated to Salem, OH enjoying his final few days with his son.

He is survived by his children, Charles Ferrebee Jr. (Vickie), David Ferrebee (Robin), and Kenneth Ferrebee. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Krysten, Jessica, Clay, Amber, Amanda, Mary, and Mason, as well as several great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Toots.

Preceding him in death were several brothers and sisters.

A celebration of Charles's life will be held privately by the family, honoring his wishes.

Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
