Sebring - Cole Charlie Crothers, 5 days old, passed away on Saturday morning, August 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
His short life was a testament to the boundless capacity for love that a family can hold. Born on August 18, 2025, at Summa Health System in Akron, Cole and his twin sister, Haley, were welcomed with open arms and hearts by their adoring parents, Jonathan and Taylor (Gray) Crothers.
His time on earth, though brief, was filled with the warmth and tenderness of his family's embrace. Cole experienced five days of pure love.
The legacy of Cole's life will be carried on by his parents, Jonathan and Taylor; maternal grandparents, Tonia Gray and Justin Haley of Hanoverton, and Toby Gray of Bryan; maternal great-grandparents, Diane Duncan of Hanoverton, Donald Duncan of Salineville, Patricia and David Rodrick of Lake Conroe, TX; siblings, Camdyn, Talyn, Isabella, Kamden, and Haley; and aunts and uncles, Travis and Emily Gray of Louisville, and Tara and Zane Smith of Hanoverton.
As Cole passed gently into the arms of Jesus, he was greeted by his paternal grandparents, Charlie Crothers and Lorri Garlinger; maternal great-grandfather, Fred Gray; and maternal great-great grandmother, Violet Woodall.
Family and friends will be received from 4-5 p.m., on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Stark Memorial Funeral Home, 1014 E. State St., Salem, where a funeral service will follow at 5 p.m.
