Youngstown- Daniel Kay Kyser, age 61, of Berlin Center, Ohio, passed away October 10, 2022. He was born June 16, 1961 in Salem, to the late Wilford D. and Peggy A. (Allison) Kyser.
Dan was a graduate of Leetonia High School, Class of 1980. For many years, he worked for Andrews Cycles, as a motorcycle technician. He enjoyed riding and working on anything with a motor. Dan was always tinkering with things and had a passion for model trains and toys. Dan was an active member of New Hope Community Church and he served on the audio/visual team for Sunday services and special events. What gave him the most joy in life, was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Along with his wife, Sherrie E. (Dash) Kyser whom he married March 7, 2002, he is survived by his two sons, Timothy J. (Tanya) Kyser of Salem and Michael J. (Sarah) Kyser of New Castle, PA; daughter, Alicia A. (fiancé, Danielle Carter) Kyser of Hubbard; step-sons, Jarid (Nicole) Lester of Canfield and Jeremy (Arielle) Lester of Ravenna; step-daughter, Brittany Senior of Youngstown; brother, Robert Kyser of Leetonia, brother, Martin Kyser of Hampton, NH, Kurt (Lorrie) Kyser of Salem, sister, Kelly (James) Dornan of Salem; five grandchildren, Claire Kyser, Connor, Bryson, Ava and Ella Lester; step-grandchildren Nikki (Mike) Detwiler, Amanda Madison (Justin), Josh Madison (Eva), Readon Senior, Russel Senior, Vincent Senior; many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Robert and Geraldine Dash, sister-in-law, Deloras Kyser and step-grandson, Justin Madison.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022 at New Hope Community Church, 493 Bev Road, Boardman, OH 44512.
