BERLIN CENTER - Debbie R. DeFelice, 70, passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2026, in the Emergency Room at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Born on May 3, 1955 in Clarion, PA, Debbie was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Anita Y. (Dolby) Edinger.
A graduate of Western Reserve High School, Debbie married her high school sweetheart, James DeFelice, on July 26, 1975, and became a dedicated homemaker. They were blessed with 29 years of marriage, until his passing on July 29, 2004.
Debbie's spiritual journey was deeply rooted in her faith as a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lisbon. She found comfort and strength in reading her Bible.
For over two decades, Debbie shared her home with her beloved Goffin Cockatoo, Milo, and enjoyed his companionship. When relaxing at home, she found joy in online shopping on her tablet and watching tv, especially Disney movies. Debbie and her sister made many cherished memories on the several Disney cruises they took together.
Debbie will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Belinda Buchanan of Berlin Center; nephew, Charles M. (Jenna) Edinger Jr. of Virginia; and her cousin, Trysten Smith, whom she adored as if he were her own son, affectionately referring to him as her "Superman."
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, Charles M. Edinger Sr.
