BELOIT-With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Deborah K. Glista, age 74, a devoted wife, cherished mother, beloved Nana, caring sister, treasured aunt, and loyal friend. Debbie was born in Waverly, New York, and spent most of her life in Beloit, Ohio, where she built a life centered on family, friendship, and unconditional love. Born April 25, 1952, Debbie was the daughter of Ralph and Ethel (Mason) Goodrich.

A graduate of West Branch High School, Class of 1969, Debbie received her cosmetology license from Alliance Beauty School, where she was later an instructor. Debbie also worked for the family owned business, Country Saw & Knife in Salem.

Debbie was the loving wife of Stanley Glista, with whom she shared 56 wonderful years of marriage filled with love and commitment. Together, Debbie and Stanley built a home filled with love, laughter, faith, and family—a legacy that will continue for generations. She was a proud and dedicated mother to Eric (Rebecca) Glista and Nathan Glista. Her greatest joy was being "Nana" to Kerstan Glista, Blake (Whitney) Glista, and Brandt Glista. She also leaves behind her brother Allen Goodrich and her sister in law, and very best friend, Janet Goodrich. She was loved by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were touched by her kindness and generous spirit.

Family was the center of Debbie's world. She celebrated every accomplishment, stood beside those she loved through every challenge, and never missed an opportunity to support her family. She found immense happiness in spoiling her grandkids and creating lasting memories that they will cherish forever.

In recent months, Debbie was especially excited about a new chapter—becoming "Gigi" later this year with the arrival of her first great-granddaughter. While she won't be here to hold her in her arms, we find comfort in believing that she has already met her precious great-granddaughter in Heaven before her earthly arrival. That love will forever be a part of the legacy she leaves behind.

Debbie embraced life's simple pleasures with enthusiasm. She loved golfing, mowing the lawn, snowmobiling, watching her favorite reality TV shows, shopping, crafting, painting, feeding the fish, and caring for the many beloved animals that shared her home over the years. She especially loved spending evenings in her beautiful backyard, watching sunsets and admiring what she often considered God's natural artwork. Whether surrounded by family or quietly taking in the beauty of creation, she found joy in life's simple blessings. Wherever she went, she brought warmth, laughter, and a sense of fun.

Those who knew Debbie will forever remember her infectious laugh, playful sense of humor, unforgettable facial expressions, and the joy she brought into every room. She had a remarkable ability to make others smile and made everyone around her feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

Although our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Debbie's legacy lives on through the family she loved so fiercely and the countless lives she touched with her compassion, generosity, and laughter.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in our hearts.

Family and friends will be received from 4-7 p.m., on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Stark Memorial Home Funeral Home, 1014 E. State St., Salem.

A funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
