Deborah D. Sanor

SALEM – Deborah D. Sanor, 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born on October 17, 1957, in Salem, OH, to Donald and Joanna (Stoffer) Herron.

Deborah graduated from Salem High School in 1976. After high school, she met Richard J. Sanor and they were married on May 14, 1983.

Deborah worked as an engineering secretary at Electric Furnace, followed by many years as an office manager at Gridds (formerly Grid Industrial Heating).

Her husband, Richard, passed away on June 23, 1998, at the age of 39. With the passing of her husband at an early age, she continued to be a devoted mother. She enjoyed keeping a clean and comfortable home for herself and her daughter, Amy. Together, they went on several vacations, creating many unforgettable memories. Deborah was also a devoted dog mom and enjoyed walking her dog daily.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Sanor; her father, Donald D. Herron; her father-in-law Lloyd Sanor, and mother-in-law Catherine Sanor.

She leaves behind a loving daughter, Amy B. Sanor, who will forever remember her life and legacy. Deborah also leaves behind her mother, Joanna Herron; a brother, David (Carol) Herron; her beloved dog, Sammie, and numerous extended family members and friends who will continue to miss her.

Friends and family will be received from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Stark Memorial Funeral Home located at 1014 E. State St, Salem, OH. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Deborah will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery in Salem, OH.
