Earl R. Whinnery

SALEM - Earl R. Whinnery, 89, died Sunday, January 5, 2025 at in Salem, OH.

Earl was born on April 13, 1935 in Winona Ohio to Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Whinnery.

Earl worked as a mechanic and loved buying, fixing up, and selling cars. He was also an avid Cleveland sports fan. Earl was a freemason at the Perry Township Lodge.

Survivors include his daughter, Carla (Terry) Kyser of Salem, Ohio; son, Michael Whinnery of Salem; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death his wife, Barbara (Todd) Whinnery; sons, Jeffrey Alan Whinnery and Robert "Bo" Whinnery; daughters, Christine Anne Whinnery, and Carleen Grimes.

Per Earl's wishes, no services will be held.

Burial will be at Hope Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
