Ennis "Joe" L. Allison

SALEM – Ennis L. “Joe” Allison, 85, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Canterbury Villa in Alliance, with his wife by his side. He was born February 13, 1940, in East Liverpool, son of the late Cecil and Annie M. (Dexter) Allison.

Joe was a life-long resident. He worked as a foreman at Ohio Edison, where he retired. Joe attended First Baptist Church of Salem. He enjoyed being a driver in demolition derbies when he was younger.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor (Beeson) Allison, whom he married June 6, 2009; daughter, Lisa (Steve) Jenkins; son, Brian (Rayna) Allison; two stepsons, Joe and Jimmy Beeson; sisters, Betty J. Glynn and Cecilia (Forrest) Loughridge; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a great friend, Larry Shultz.

Besides his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Green,; brother, James Allison; daughter, Kimberly Hampson, and stepson, Robert Beeson, Jr.

Services will be held at a later date.
