Eugene D. Lewis

Eugene D. Lewis, 96, passed away at his home on Monday, February 2, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

Eugene was born in Alliance, Ohio, on February 22, 1929, to the late Morgan and Eldessa (Cameron) Lewis.

He served in the Army from 1948 to 1952. He fought in the Korean War, earning several medals and a Bronze Service Star.

Eugene married Betty R. Stoffer on April 25, 1952. They have been happily married for 73 years.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Betty, a son, Jeff (Debbie) Lewis, and a daughter, Cindy (Daryl) Kaurich. Eugene will also be dearly missed by his granddaughter, Billy (Ray) Holzkaecth, a grandson, Chris Webb, and a great-grandson, Victor (Jojo) Webb.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Christal Rose Webb.

There will be no services for Eugene at this time.

Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home.
