SALEM – Evelyn M. Chamberlain, 90, passed away on September 22, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 8, 1933, in Rogers, daughter of the late Charles C. and Myrtle V. (Gorby) DePillo.
Evelyn was a homemaker, a member of the Lisbon Nazarene Church and the church Sunday School class.
Her husband, Cecil Chamberlain Jr., whom she married on March 14, 1951, preceded her in death on January 25, 2006.
She is survived by two sons, Danny (Connie) Chamberlain and Ronnie (Pam) Chamberlain, both of Salem; sister, Shirley Smith of Rogers; daughter, Linda Jones of Salem; five grandchildren, Joe Chamberlain, Kimberly Chamberlain, Matthew Chamberlain, Josh Juillerat, and Tim Jones; nine great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Rene Chamberlain.
Besides her parents and husband, her son, Michael Chamberlain; two brothers, Edward DePillo and David DePillo; and sister, Virginia L. Six, also precede her in death.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Lisbon Cemetery with Rev. Brian Brown officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Columbiana County Humane Society.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care of Miss Evelyn.
Those unable to attend may show their support with the complimentary “Hugs from Home” program.
Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
