WASHINGTONVILLE - Francine “Lucy” Pastore, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center, in Salem, Ohio. Born on December 30, 1959, to the late William Locke and Sandra (Dyke) Corfee, Lucy's journey through life was marked by her resilience, love for her family, and a spirit that inspired all who knew her.
Lucy was a graduate of Oak Glen High School in West Virginia. She was a woman of many talents and interests, with a particular passion for sewing, ceramics, and gardening. Her love for growing flowers and spending time outdoors was only matched by her love for her family and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures.
Lucy's legacy is carried on by her beloved husband, Lee Pastore, whom she married on April 10, 1982. She was a wonderful mother to her daughters, Larissa Green, Ashley (Brian McNeal) Pastore, and Heather (Nick) Prislipsky, and a doting grandmother to her grandchildren, Jacob, Sierra, Devon, Lahela, Ella Sue, Jamie Jr., Steven, Luca, and Gabe, as well as two great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
She is also survived by her sister, Bobbie (Dennis) Williams, and brother, Jon Corfee.
Her strength was evident in her courageous battle against breast cancer, a fight she won, further proving her resilience and determination. Her journey was not without its hardships, as she was preceded in death by her sons, David and Jamie Pastore.
Friends and family will be received at Stark Memorial on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. where they will gather to honor and celebrate a life well-lived.
