George W. Nannah Jr.

SALEM - George Walter Nannah Jr., 87, left this earth on Sunday, November 17, 2024 surrounded by family.

He was born in Elkton to parents George W. and  Dorothy M. Nannah.

George was  a 1954 graduate of Salem High School and was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife Judi (Popa) of 65 years. Also surviving him are his daughters, Lori L. (Frank) Berger, Debbi S. (Chuck) Yanek, Robin E. (Chris) Tolley, twin sons, Tim G. (Linda) and Tom G. (Wendy) Nannah; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bertie Sell of Salem and Jane Stokes of Canton.

Besides his parents George was preceded in death by siblings, Donna Paparodis and Herbert Nannah.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem First Methodist Church, with Rev. Byron Bufkin officiating.
