Grant M. Lehwald

SALEM - Grant M. Lehwald, 55, loving son, brother, uncle and friend passed away suddenly Thursday, November 14, 2024, surrounded by his family. A lifelong resident of Salem, Ohio, Grant was born on February 8, 1969, son of Dr. C. James Lehwald Jr., D.D.S. and Susan Lehwald.

Grant always enjoyed reminiscing of childhood memories of growing up on Homewood Ave. with his friends and family.

He was a 1987 graduate of Salem High School and received his bachelors degree from Youngstown State University.

Besides his parents, he leaves behind his devoted brother, Jim, and sister-in-law, Heather Lehwald, his cherished niece and nephew, Megan and Joshua Lehwald; aunts, Kim, Karen (Tasi) Carter and family, and the family of his late aunt, Carol Horton, along with numerous cousins and friends who will hold his memory dear.

In keeping with his family's wishes, a private service was held to honor Grant's life. Grant was laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery.
