Helen Marie Hall

SALEM - Helen Marie Hall, 90, died October 3, 2020 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Helen was born December 20, 1929 in Alliance, OH, a daughter of the late John and Neta (Deville) Wright.

Helen was a 1947 graduate of Augusta High School.  She worked for 30 years at Deming’s in Salem. Helen loved flowers, gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her husband, Robert Hall, whom she married June 28, 1952, died Dec. 22, 2000.

She is survived by two daughters, Becky (Harold) Albert of Salem and Nancy (Ronald) Mercer of Salem; two sisters, Celia Arsuffi of Salem and Margaret Wilson of Sebring; three grandchildren, Julie (Richard) Berg of Salem; Adam Mercer of Melbourne, FL and Aaron Mercer of Salem; and four great-grandchildren, Cade and Evan Berg; and Elizabeth and Oliver Mercer.

Besides her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by three brothers, Blain, Roy, and Johnny Wright.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October, 9, 2020 at Stark Memorial with Certified Celebrant, Daniel P. Madden officiating. Interment will be at Hope Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
