James A. Boston Sr.

LEETONIA – James Allen Boston Sr., 71, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, October 20, 2025, after a long illness.

A son of the late Melvin “Pete” and Edna (Carnes) Boston, James was a lifelong area resident. He spent many years driving truck for Paul Lipp & Son Concrete and Excavating.

In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and spending times outdoors.

James was a proud dad, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed by his children, James (Jessica) Boston Jr, Frank (Cheryl) Boston and Christina (Gary) Masters; sister, Marlene Boston; nephew, Ace Mellot; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, James is preceded in death by his sister, Janice Mellott; great-granddaughter, Eliza Masters; and niece, Melinda Mellott.

Per James’ request, no calling hours or services will be held.

Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
