SALEM – Janet Ruth Wolfe, 74, died Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Salem Regional Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1945 in Morgantown, West Virginia, daughter of the late Archie G. and Ruth Jeannine (Turner) Summers.
Janet was a 1963 graduate of East Fairmont High School. She attended Rogers Assembly of God. Janet loved gardening and flowers, spending time with her grandchildren, doing ceramics and quilting. She was a master at canning and baking.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Wolfe whom she married December 28, 1962; children, Michele (Christian) Cirino of Rootstown; Greg (Terrie Marsh) Wolfe of Salem and Melanie Cox of Leetonia; sister, Sue (Burton) Hare, Elkins, WV; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Breeanna, Cory, Logan, Alora and Harmony.
Besides her parents, a son, Jeffrey Sean Wolfe and a brother, Robert “Bobby” Summers also preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Monday, October 19, 2020 at Stark Memorial with Pastor Ken Sevacko officiating. Calling hours will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the funeral home. For the safety of the Wolfe family, please adhere to social distancing and bring your own mask. Burial will be held at Highland Memorial Park.
