SALEM - Jenelle A. Shoaff, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.
Born on December 31, 1953, in Alliance, Jenelle was the beloved daughter of the late Walter Shutler and Nancy (McEldowney) Wright.
Jenelle was a proud 1971 graduate of Leetonia High School. She was a long-standing member of the Greenford Christian Church, where she found great comfort and community. Jenelle's commitment to her family was unwavering, and she found her greatest joy in the company of her loved ones.
On January 8, 1972, Jenelle married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Bob Shoaff, and together they embarked on a journey that would span over five decades. Jenelle and Bob were blessed with three sons, Rob (Cindy) Shoaff of Grayson, Ky. Ryan (Shelley) Shoaff of Canton, and Joshua (Brandy) Shoaff of Fort Wayne, Ind. She was a doting grandmother to Samuel, Abigail, Andrew, Grace, Allen, Hunter, Kathryn, and Kallee, and a proud great-grandmother to Raidyn and Noah.
She and her husband traveled all over the United States and were world travelers. One of her favorite destinations was Myrtle Beach, where she found serenity and joy in walking along the beach.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Bob, of 52 years, their children and grandchildren, as well as her brothers, Steve (Darlene) Shutler and Bill (Tami) Shutler; her sisters, Paula (Jim) Barton and Lora (Terry) Martin; and her half-sister, Margie (Nick) Patti.
Jenelle was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Shutler, and half-brother, Thomas Wright.
A private celebration of life will be held by her family.
