SALEM – Jennings “Porky” Morris, age 83, died at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born in Arden, West Virginia, the son of the late Herman R. and Fetna (Yeager) Morris.
Jennings previously worked as a forker for 40 years at the former Eljer Manufacturing Inc. and p retired in 1991. His hobby was talking on the C.B. Radio with his handle as Porky.
His wife, Geneva Morris, whom he married in 1952, preceded him in death August 24, 2003.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Lorrie Morris of Kensington; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Two sons, Joey J. Morris and Mark Morris; four sisters; two brothers and one great-granddaughter also preceded him in death.
A private service will be held at a later date.
