Judith Smith Obituary

SALEM - Judith Ann Smith, affectionately known as Judy to her friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, at Hospice House. Judy was born on April 21, 1949, in Doylestown, Pa.

She was the cherished wife of Ronald Smith. Their loving union was cut short when Ronald passed away on August 13, 1998. Judy was a devoted mother to her three children, Dwain Smith and his wife Tammra of New Waterford, Tammy Sampson and her husband Shawn of Salem, and Ronda Pittman and her husband Bryan of Alliance. She was the proud grandmother of Kristopher, Austin James, Camerin, Tanner, Hayli Lou, Mackenzie, Emily and Ryan, and great-grandmother of six, who brought her immeasurable joy and happiness. She also leaves one brother and two sisters.

Besides her parents and her husband, Judy was also preceded in death by her brother, a grandson, Nicholas Wade Smith, and her special friend of 18 years, Bob Kovach.

Judy was a member of several organizations, including the AMVETS and the American Legion. She also enjoyed going to the casinos and working outside in her yard.
We take solace in the knowledge that she lived her life to the fullest, surrounded by family and friends. Following Judy's wishes there will be no calling hours or services planned at this time.
