Julia Ann (Johnson) Linam Linton passed away on June 10, 2025, in Sebring, Ohio. Julia, affectionately known as "Judy," was born to Ethelda and Clifford Johnson on June 5, 1939, in Salem, Ohio. She was the youngest of 12 children.
She graduated from Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing. On December 31, 1958, she married Lonnie F. Linam, and they welcomed three children. Lonnie passed away in April of 1995. Judy married David Linton in September of 2001.
Judy had many hobbies including bowling, golf, painting, gardening, card club, reading, sewing and travel. She loved Jesus and her family and friends fiercely and unconditionally.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and siblings, Jim (Millie) Johnson, Mae (Bub) Hoffman, Don Johnson, Alice (Dean) McCluggage, Bill (Gladys) Johnson, Violet (Warren) Calvin, Bob (Harriet) Johnson, Hazel (Andy) Anderson, Ed (Betty) Johnson, and Glen (Delores) Johnson.
Judy is survived by brother, Gene (Kay) Johnson and children, Amy Lederle, Jeffrey (Bilynda) Linam and L. Kevin (Becky) Linam. She is also survived by grandchildren, Julianna (Chris) Graper, James (Ariel) Ziegler, Loralee (Kyle) Talbott, Jeffrey Linam, Jr., Erika (Joe) Stutzman, Lydia (Stephen) Devine, J.W. (Nicole) Linam, and Becca (Brandon) Andrews. She also leaves many beloved great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in the future, by invitation.
