Kacie L. Guzzo

Kacie L. Guzzo, 42, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, Ohio, surrounded by her family.

Kacie was born in Salem, Ohio, on September 27, 1983. She attended United High School and afterwards attended Northern Arizona University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

Kacie was an animal lover, especially her dogs, Alice, Chubb, and Ziti. She fostered several dogs over the years, giving them a life filled with love and the utmost care. She also loved Jeeps and adding a duck to her collection every now and then. Kacie was also fond of crocheting, which she became very proficient in as she got older. Those who loved Kacie knew she had a fondness for food, her favorite dishes being sushi, wedding soup and anything involving both chicken and rice. She loved everything that was spicy, whether she was topping off a meal with hot peppers or buying another hot sauce to add to her extensive collection.

Kacie met Steve Guzzo while she was working at Dunkin and from those first moments of meeting, they knew that they shared a powerful connection. Kacie and Steve were married on September 30, 2025. One of Kacie’s favorite ways of expressing her love was through cooking. She loved making food for Steve and sharing meals together.

She leaves behind her husband, Steve; her parents, John and Cindy Gross; a sister, Khris Humphrey; two nieces, Rileigh and Emerson and one nephew, Brenden. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory a father-in-law Guy Sauceman, mother-in-law Judy Sauceman, four sisters-in-law, Lisa Potts, Danielle Guzzo, Heather Fitzwilliams, Renee Guzzo, and two brothers-in-law, Matthew Guzzo and Brian Guzzo.

Kacie will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She will always be remembered for her expressive personality and her ability to love fiercely.

There will be no services for Kacie at this time.
