Kenneth "Kenny" Prickett, Jr. was born on January 25, 1941, to Kenneth L. Prickett, Sr. and Clara (Leech) Prickett in Atwater, OH. The oldest of six children, he was raised in Alliance, OH in a humble home where there was little in material wealth, but an abundance of laughter, faith, and strength. From an early age, he learned the value of hard work and perseverance, lessons he carried with him throughout his life. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 19, 2026.
Ken worked to put himself through Chicago Technical College getting his degree in engineering in 1967 and was a member of Sigma Phi Delta fraternity. In 1968 he began his career with the Electric Furnace Company in Salem, OH and married Judith (Harker) Prickett.
In 1981 he designed and helped build his home on Pearce Circle in Salem which was the first house built on the circle. From 1983-2011 he was the proud owner and operator of Salem Brass & Aluminum Foundry.
Ken is predeceased by his father, Kenneth Prickett, Sr.; mother, Clara (Leech) Prickett; brothers, Larry Prickett, and Michael Prickett and nephew, Kevin Prickett.
