Lee A. Kornick Obituary

Lee A. Kornick, 70, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at his home in Beloit.

Lee was born on December 28, 1955, in Pittsburgh, PA to Ronald and Gretchen (Braunroth) Kornick. He graduated from Perry High School in Pittsburgh and later completed some college courses. He went on to work for UPS, where he began his career. He started as a delivery driver and eventually spent many years in management, as well as a supervisor later on. He eventually retired from UPS after 35 years.

Lee married Deanna Oliverio on October 23, 1976. They have spent nearly 50 loving and cherished years together. They enjoyed traveling, whether it was to a beach town or an unfamiliar city, as long as there was sunshine. Lee and Deanna built a beautiful life together, especially once they welcomed their two daughters into the world. They worked hard to provide a wonderful life for their children but also knew how to take a step back and enjoy themselves.

Although Lee is gone, the many warm memories of him will remain. He loved to golf, fish, enjoy a Steelers game whenever he could, or sit down for a boardgame with his family. He often took his grandchildren fishing with him, teaching them random lessons while also sharing many laughs. His wholesome smile will live on through his family and friends. Lee was also very active at his church, Bethel United.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Deanna, his two daughters, Jaclyn Kornick and Kimberly (Rob) Caruso, and his grandchildren, Shelby and Sebastian. Lee will also be dearly missed by his brothers, David Kornick and Gregory Kornick as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life held in memory of Lee at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Bethel United Church of Christ, located at 25701 Buck Rd, Beloit, OH 44609.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to the food pantry at Bethel United Church of Christ, located at 25701 Buck Rd, Beloit, OH 44609.
