WASHINGTONVILLE - Lee Alan Pastore, age 62, completed his journey on earth and passed into eternal rest on August 15, 2025. Born on August 5, 1963, to the late Paul “Tony” and Mary P. (Keirns) Pastore, Lee was a man deeply rooted in his community and always brimming with the spirit of a true American.
A devoted family man, Lee was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Francine "Lucy" (Locke) Pastore, who was the cornerstone of his life until her passing on October 8, 2024. Together, they built a loving home and were married on April 10, 1982.
Lee's legacy includes his service to the nation in the U.S. Army, a testament to his belief in America's traditional values. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a loyal and hardworking member of the workforce, carrying tremendous dedication in his roles as a truck driver for both R&L Carriers and Doug Davidson Trucking.
Lee took the mantle of a provider with commitment, ensuring that his family not only had love but stability. In recent years, his nurturing qualities shone brightly as he took an active role in raising his grandson, Steven.
His heart continued to beat for his daughters, Larissa Green of Cleveland, Ashley (Brian McNeal) Pastore, and Heather (Nick) Prislipsky, both of Salem. The light of Lee’s life extended to his nine grandchildren, Jacob, Sierra, Devon, Lahela, Ella Sue, Jamie Jr., Steven, Luca, and Gabe, as well as his two great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents and wife, Lee is preceded in death by his sons, David and Jamie Pastore Sr.; his brother, Clay Pastore, and sister, Carla Hofmann. His memories will be fondly cherished and his absence deeply felt in the hearts of those he touched.
Calling hours will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Stark Memorial Funeral Home, 1014 E. State St., Salem, followed by military honors at 4:00 p.m.
