Lela Roof Obituary

SALEM - Lela Roof went home to her Lord and Savior Easter weekend 2023. Lela was saved by faith in Jesus Christ at an early age.

So, while her passing leaves us in tears, we rejoice knowing she is no longer in pain and one day will see her again.

Lela was beautiful, kind, loving, brilliant, and caring. Throughout her life she put others needs before her own, doing the best she could to help her family and friends whenever and however she could. She will be missed by many.

Lela was preceded in death by her “Papa” Louie; sister, Theresa, and grandma, “Moreet”.

She is survived by her daughter, Crissy; mother, Beverley; brother, Anthoney; and sisters, Marissa, Dawn, Alice and Cynthia.

She leaves behind many other family members too numerous to mention by name, including cousins, nieces and nephews, and their children and her Salem friends and family for the past 20 years, especially Scott and Tracy, who loved her dearly.
