Margaret Louise Von Tuchlinski

Salem- Margaret Louise Von Tuchlinski, 96, died Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

Margaret was born September 11, 1924 in Salem, OH, a daughter of the late George and Anna (Majiros) Birchak.

She dedicated most of her working life to farming. After retirement she was a home health aide and volunteered at Salem Hospital.

Some of her favorite pastimes were reading books and the newspaper everyday, always keeping herself informed and expanding her knowledge. She also enjoyed polka music and visiting with friends and family. Margaret was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Slovak Club.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her husband Paul, whom she married June 30, 1962, died Sept. 11, 2003.  She was the last remaining sibling, preceded by: Andrew Birchak, Anna Wisler, John Birchak, Mary Navoyosky, George Birchak, Elizabeth Mitchell, Helen Cook, Joseph Birchak, Michael Birchak, and Mary Birchak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Robert Edwards officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at Stark Memorial.
