Marge (Nestor) Wright

SALEM - Marge Wright was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the age of 86. She was born December 15,1936, in Salem, Ohio and graduated from Salem in the class of 1954.

She married the love of her life, Karl and they remained together for 68 years.

Marge is survived by her husband, Karl; two sisters, Linda Horn and Jean Smith. She raised three boys, Steve (Paula) of Salem, Chuck (Kim) of Greenwood, Indiana and Tom (Carolyn) of Circleville, Ohio; seven grandchildren and nine loving great grandchildren.   

She was an active member of the Salem First Presbyterian Church for 70 years.  She enjoyed cooking and baking for friends and family and participated in many church groups including Deacons and Elders. She loved playing cards and especially all the friends she made at card club. She was always there for family and attended every event they participated in with love and support. Marge was an avid Salem Quaker fan.    

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and John Nestor and numerous loving aunts and uncles.   

In lieu of flowers, her wishes were for memorial contributions be made to Salem Alumni Association, 330 E. State St., Salem, OH 44460 or the First Presbyterian Church Music Fund, 436 E. Second St., Salem, OH 44460.

Friends and family will be received 10:00 a.m. – 12 Noon Friday, December 30, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church.

A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon at the church with Rev. Dr. Frank Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
