Marjorie A. (Raby) Wright

SALEM - Marjorie Ann Wright, affectionately known as Margie, passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

Margie was born on February 22, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Stanley and Mildred (Park) Raby. Her warmth, kindness, and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her life was one of service and care, which was evident in her long and fulfilling career as a nurse at Robinson Memorial Hospital. Her dedication to her patients was matched only by her devotion to her family. As a loving mother of three, Margie balanced her professional responsibilities with her role as a housewife with grace and love. Her children remember her as a pillar of strength and comfort, always there to support them in their endeavors.

An avid reader, Margie found joy in the pages of countless books. Her love for cooking was another of her many talents.

Margie's legacy continues through her family, including her children, David Duane Utt and Robert Allen Utt. She was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, whose stories and lessons will be passed down through generations.

Sadly, Margie was preceded in death by her son, Ralph Vance Patrick.

Friends and family will gather to honor and celebrate Margie's life from 1-2 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2025, at Stark Memorial Funeral Home with a service to follow 2:00 pm. Margie will be laid to rest at Hope Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude's.
