Mary Lu Camp

Sebring- Mary Lu Camp, 90, died March 11, 2019 at Crandall Medical Center. 

She was born September 22, 1928 in Darlington, PA, a daughter of the late Richard and Catherine (Strasser) Weik.

Mary Lu was a homemaker and a member of Salem First Friends Church.  Some of her favorite past-times were sewing, cooking, baking, reading, and playing cards.

Her husband, Harry Camp, whom she married June 1, 1946, died May 17, 2009.

She is survived by a son, Tom (Krystal) Camp of Berlin Center; two daughters, Kitty (Larry) Johnson of Canfield and Nancy (Keith) Alt of Shelby, OH; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Mary Lu was preceded in death by one daughter, Pauline Beamer; one brother, Donald Weik; and one granddaughter, Rebecca Johnson.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Salem First Friends Church, with Pastor Peter Fowler officiating. Interment will be at Hope Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received Thursday from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services and Friday from 10:00-11 a.m. at the church.
