Mary Dowmont

LISBON – Mary Dowmont, 98, died Friday, March 26, 2021 at Salem North Healthcare Center. She was born April 18, 1922 in Hudson Falls, NY, daughter of the late Ernest Sr. and Mary (Garwood) Cutler.

Mary worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Columbiana County Board of Education for 25 years, retiring in 2004.

Survivors include a son, Brian Dowmont of Lisbon; two daughters, Anne Shepard of Ft. Edward, NY and Dineen Dowmont of Hillsborough, NC; and a brother, James Cutler of Blairsville, GA.

Besides her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Cutler, Ernest Cutler Jr. and Clyde Cutler and a sister, Dorothy Cutler.

Memorial calling hours will be held from 12 Noon – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Stark Memorial. Burial will be held at Union Cemetery, Ft. Edward, NY.
