Nicholas J. Cyphert

WASHINGTONVILLE - Nicholas J. "Nick" Cyphert, 29, died early Monday, August 15, 2022, after an unexpected accident at work. He was born February 17, 1993 in Alliance, OH, the son of Brian Cyphert and Stacy Shannon.

Nick was a 2012 graduate of Salem High School. He was passionate about his work as a diesel technician at Travel Centers of America.

He was very mechanical, enjoyed learning new skills in his trade and helping others. Nick enjoyed everything that involved spending time with friends and family. He was happiest and most vibrant when he was creating memories with his fiancee and children.

Survivors include his father, Brian Cyphert of Salem; his mother, Stacy Shannon; his fiancee, Aleta Pisoni of Washingtonville; children, Jasmine Renee Shultz, Isabelle Rebecca Shultz, and Kayden Joshua Cyphert; siblings, Michael Cyphert, Annastasia Cyphert, Samuel Shannon, and his paternal grandmother, Linda "Mimi" Lake.

Friends and family will be received from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Stark Memorial. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 p.m. with certified celebrant, Daniel P. Madden officiating.
