Patricia E. Hendricks

COLUMBIANA - Patricia E. Hendricks (Gramas), 86, was born September 3, 1937, in East Greenville, PA and passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Salem Reginal Medical Center in Salem, Ohio.

She was the beloved only child of Lillian (Stubanas) and John Gramas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hendricks, on September 25, 2022, after 39 years of marriage.

Pat graduated from Sharon High School and University of Pittsburgh (D.T. Watson School of Physiatrics) with a degree in Physical Therapy. She was a proud member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and a Pitt cheerleader, cheering at the 1956 Gator Bowl.

Pat worked as a physical therapist in several clinical settings, including Hillside Hospital in Warren, Ohio. Pat and Tom were longtime members of a Singles and Couples club, with whom they enjoyed many trips and countless meals. She and Tom traveled the world together well into their seventies, visiting England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Italy. Pat loved to read and was a member of several book and social groups over the years, including Searchlight in North Lima, Ohio. She was a longtime and active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Salem.

Pat was very proud of her family. She will be remembered with love by her sons, Thomas Beach (Ruth) and William Beach (Agatha); her grandchildren, John, Evan, Lillian, Adam, and William; her stepchildren, Timothy Hendricks (Debbie), Karen Teets, and Sherrie Huntley (Tim); and her step-grandchildren, including Kelly Mabee (Sean) and Ethan LeClair; and step great-grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, September 30, 2023, with memorial service to follow at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Aimee Raymond officiating.
