Paul J. Taylor

Paul Jonathan Taylor went on to be with the Lord on Friday, December 26, 2025. He was surrounded by loved ones at University of Cleveland Hospital, having been given the gift of 64 years of life.

Born on November 17, 1961, in Warren, Ohio, to parents Ora and Norma (Byers) Taylor, Paul exuded the warmth of security with a father's heart to everyone in his presence; living a life proudly marked by the every-man's dedication to his work and his family.

He approached his days accompanied by this consistent dedication, contented with the simple pleasures of life like enjoying the day's newspaper, music, dancing, long drives and spending precious time with his loved ones. Whatever the occasion, Paul was found with an easy joy and quiet gratefulness.

After graduating from Salem High School in 1980 Paul worked with a wholesome commitment through a 40+ year position at Blackhawk Automotive, now Ventra. Yet, the crown of his life was his beloved family whom he served with a steadfast loyalty.

Missing him deeply are those who called him dad: sons, Zack (Megan) and Logan Taylor, and daughters, Amanda Fitzpatrick and Adrienne (Rich) Capel. As well his sister, Lynda Coleman, and brothers, Timothy and Mark Taylor. In addition, those who called him Papa Paul, Isabella, Oliver, Brody, Kodi, Eden, Irey, Everest and Atlas. Not the least of these is June Fitzpatrick, the mother of his children. Alongside as well are his nieces, nephews and numerous others who shared in Paul's life.

He is proceeded by his parents, Ora and Norma Taylor, and his brother, Orrie (Joe) Taylor.

In this time of remembrance, we encourage all who knew Paul to reflect on the many memories we were blessed to share with him. Calling hours will take place at Stark Memorial on Wednesday, January 7, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., and funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, January 8, with viewing from 11 a.m.-noon, and service beginning at noon at Stark Memorial as well.
