Paula J. Dillon, 83, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Damascus, Ohio.


She was born on December 21, 1941, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Carl C. and Catherine C. (Chick) Simnick.


Paula was a member of First Friends Church of Salem for many years. She was a school bus driver for 27 years for Salem City Schools.


She married the love of her life, John Dillon, on February 16, 1964. They spent many loving years together, building a beautiful family.


She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was honored to be able to see her last great-grandchild enter the world.


Paula leaves behind a son, John C. Dillon, along with two daughters, Sandee (Ronald) Saunier and Rose A. Page. She will also be dearly missed by her two sisters, Kitty Rickman and Carlie Simpson, two grandchildren, Christine V. Saunier and Kaitlyn M. Dillon, and her four great-grandchildren, Marley J. Mitchell, Kinsley R. Mitchell, Sophie L. Smith, and Aurbey K. Smith.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Dillon, and a sister, Mary Kelly.


Services for Paula will be held at a later date.


Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
