SALEM - Randy Lee Bleakley, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Salem Regional Medical Center.
Born on July 16, 1955, in Salem, Ohio, he was the son of the late Jack and Violet J. (Skinner) Bleakley.
Randy was a proud 1974 graduate of Salem High School. He built a lifelong career as a self-employed cement mason, known for his strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Many in the community can still see his handiwork - lasting reminders of his dedication and pride in a job well done.
Outside of work, Randy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid golfer, who loved spending time on the greens and also enjoyed bowling and time spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna (Lieder) Bleakley, whom he married on January 7, 1997; two sons, Jeremy (Amanda) Hawkins of Berlin Center and Jason (Allyse) Hawkins of Salem; grandchildren, Austin (Lexi), Zac (Braden), Elsie, and Kiki; one sister, Gail (Arthur) Bowen of Salem; and several nieces and nephews, Carrie Boso, Luke Linder and Rudy Linder, all of Salem.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Bleakley.
A Celebration of Life will be from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Salem First Christian Church.
