SALEM - Richard A. Dicesare, 65, a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem.
Born on August 20, 1959, in Warren, Richard was the son of the late Alfred P. and Virginia M. (Tiernan) Dicesare.
A graduate of Salem High School, Richard was known for his love of hard rock music, with Tommy James & the Shondells among his favorite bands. His love for music was only matched by his enjoyment of classic movies and television shows, with "Gunsmoke" holding a special place in his heart. Richard's presence in the community was a familiar sight, as he was often seen taking walks through the streets of Salem.
He leaves behind his brother, Gus (Janice) Dicesare, and his nephews, Anthony (Stacy) Dicesare and Nicholas (Brittany) Dicesare. He was a great-uncle to Lucas, Benjamin, Amelia, and Enzo.
Richard was preceded in death by his niece, Stephanie Dicesare.
Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories of Richard from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Stark Memorial Funeral Home.
His life and legacy will be celebrated by those who knew him best, as they reminisce about the joy and laughter he brought into their lives. Richard will be laid to rest at a later time alongside his mother at Grandview Cemetery.
