Roger Lee Carl

SALEM – Roger Lee Carl passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at his home. Born December 2, 1960, to the late Elmer Carl and Mary (Shaffer) Safreed.

He was a life-long resident. Roger served in the Army National Guard.

Rogers is survived by his dog, Holly; his sister, Linda (Barry) Baddeley; stepbrother, Chad McLaughlin of Dallas, TX; half-brother, Steven Carl of Streater, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jeff Carl, Ronald Carl and Dick Carl.

Military honors will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2026, at Grandview Cemetery Chapel.
