SALEM - Rose Marie Carlisle, 75, a cherished mother, grandmother, and dedicated nurse's aide, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the Hospice House in Youngstown.
Born on May 11, 1949, in Leetonia, Ohio, Rose was the loving daughter of John and Anna Holisky.
Rose grew up in the close-knit community of Leetonia, where she attended local schools and graduated from Leetonia High School. Her dedication to helping others was evident early on, leading her to a fulfilling career in healthcare. For over 30 years, Rose served with compassion and commitment as a State Tested Nurses Aide at Huttons/Essex, which later became known as Salem North.
Rose was a dedicated member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Salem.
Her legacy is carried on by her beloved daughter, Angela Carlisle, and her adored grandchildren, Matthew and Jillian. Her role as a mother and grandmother was one she cherished above all else. The love, laughter, and wisdom she shared with her family created an unbreakable bond that will continue to live on in their hearts.
A private celebration of Rose's life will be held by the family at a later date, honoring her memory in a manner befitting the private and humble person she was.
