Rose M. (Grey) Noss

WASHINGTONVILLE - Rosemary Noss, 81, of Washingtonville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at her son’s home in Lisbon, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 18, 1944, to the late Walter and Virginia Grey.

She was a lifelong homemaker and loving wife. Rose enjoyed watching westerns and traveling to Gettysburg.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Gilbert Kenneth Noss; five children, Allen (Cathy) Noss, Sonya McElhaney, Shawn (Kristina) Noss, Hope Noss and Rudy Noss; 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Alma Stewart and Carl “Buddy” Grey.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by six siblings, George Grey, Walter “Frog” Grey, Patricia Grey, Arthur (Billie) Grey, Marion Ulinski and Gloria Corso.

Rose was a woman with remarkable strength and spirit. She will be greatly missed.

The family will have a private memorial celebration of life.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice team of Ohio Living for their compassionate care, comfort, and support during Rose's final days.
